Which marquee

The first of the two main choices is the Traditional Marquee (old style cream canvas with wooden poles) or secondly the Frame Marquee (modern aluminium pavilions with white PVC covers) The main distinguishing difference between the two types is the support system. Inside the marquee the only difference, once dressed, is central king poles of the traditional style.

Frame marquees can be sited on hard standing or grass lawns whereas the traditional style tents can only be located on lawns due to the fixing requirements.

One point to remember when choosing between the two available structures is the necessity of providing additional room around the perimeter of a traditional marquee for the guy ropes. Frame Marquees make better use of limited spaces as they are free standing units and are pinned via the base plates located on each leg. 

We supply frame marquees throughout the year but traditional marquees can generally only be hired from May to September.
